German Fundraising Intern Street Child Germany in Barcelona
Beginn: ab sofort
Firmenprofil
Street Child is a charity dedicated to ensuring every child is safe in school and learning, through a holistic approach that targets all barriers to a child’s education. There’s never been a better time to get behind our cause: we are an ambitious and exciting international development charity, and this is your chance to be part of an incredible fundraising adventure!
At Street Child, we are fortunate to work with fantastic volunteers who help us keep overheads low, ensuring that as much funding as possible goes directly to our projects in Sub-Saharan Africa, Europe, and Asia. While this internship is unpaid, we actively support candidates in applying for Erasmus+ funding to help cover their costs. We are currently looking for a full-time (33 hours/week) German intern to join us in our Barcelona office. The preferred internship duration is 6 months; however, shorter duration can be discussed.
Street Child embraces skill diversity among interns, and we are more than happy, according to our current needs, to craft tasks depending on the personal qualities of the intern and/or give the intern freedom to apply their personal skills.
You will be part of a small team led by Street Child Germany’s Country Manager.
What are the benefits of an internship at Street Child?
Insights into NGO operations: You will gain comprehensive insights into international relief projects and learn first-hand how a rapidly growing non-profit organization works.
Broad scope for creativity and ownership: At Street Child, you won’t just have the chance to contribute your own ideas; you’ll actively shape and lead your projects. Whether you’re working on fundraising campaigns, corporate partnerships, or volunteer management, your creativity and initiative are not only welcomed, they’re essential!
Opportunities for learning and development: Through regular training, constructive feedback, and close collaboration with the team, you’ll have the chance to systematically strengthen both your professional skills, such as communication, research, project organization, as well as your personal competencies, including self-management and intercultural competence.
Work in an international team: You’ll be working alongside colleagues and fellow interns from various countries, offering a unique opportunity to strengthen your intercultural understanding and language skills
Support with Erasmus+: We provide guidance and assistance for those interested in applying for an Erasmus+ scholarship or other funding options.
Social impact: Your work at Street Child directly helps disadvantaged children gain access to education and sustainably improves their living conditions.
Street Child is committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace. We welcome applications from all qualified persons regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age.
